A Record-Breaking Telethon Raised $1,469,772

The 70th Annual CP Telethon had high expectations in the community. With the new Saturday Livestream event, the weekend looked a little different. An outpouring of community support made Telethon weekend a success, raising a record-breaking $1,469,772 for CP!

The interactive Livestream Event on Saturday was completely new to CP. The purpose of this change was to provide the audience with an inside look at CP and hear directly from clients. From health and wellness to CP Family Feud, this was a fun-filled event that gave our audience the opportunity to ask questions directly to clients and get to know them. 

WBAY has been a long-standing partner of CP since the beginning. Many visitors have come through the doors of WBAY to raise funds for CP. From celebrities to CP clients, the WBAY auditorium has been a staple in Telethon. Gracious hosts at WBAY have welcomed everyone willing to support a good cause.

Telethon is an event for the community, by the community. Staff and volunteers made the event possible by putting in countless hours. Our donors and corporate partners gave their time and resources through donations and volunteering as VIPs. Watching diligently from home, the audience has allowed CP to continue this tradition for 70 years, and many more to come.
